Your Quarter Beef is approximately 100 lbs. of finished, take-home beef. That means the weight is based on the beef you actually receive after it has been processed and packaged.

What Our Customers Say

Cuts Will Vary With the Animal
The weights above represent the approximate total for each group, not the amount of every cut listed.

For example, the Premium Steaks portion may include Tenderloin, N.Y. Strip, Ribeye, or a combination. Exact cuts and individual weights naturally vary based on the animal and the harvest.

If you’d like a little more or less of something within the available cuts, let us know. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request based on availability.

From Our Freezer to Yours
Everything comes vacuum-sealed and individually labeled, so you can easily see what you have and pull out only what you need.

Plan for approximately 4 to 5 cubic feet of freezer space, comparable to a small chest freezer or a large section of an upright freezer.

How Your Quarter Beef Ships
When shipped by UPS, a Quarter Beef is generally packed in about 3 boxes. The exact number may vary depending on the size and packing of the individual cuts.

Pickup & Shipping

• Ranch Pickup
  Local pickup at our ranch in Saguache, Colorado is available at no additional cost. Your beef will be placed in a labeled chest freezer at the ranch house, located in the enclosed porch on the left under the window. Pickup is available Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• UPS Shipping
  UPS shipping is available for an additional $25 per box. Shipping is not included in the beef price or deposit and will be charged separately when your beef is ready to ship.

In-stock orders are generally prepared and shipped within approximately 2 weeks of your purchase. If you are reserving beef from an upcoming harvest, your beef will be prepared and shipped once that harvest has been processed and is ready.

UPS tracking information will be sent 1 to 3 days before your order ships.
